Strength and durability

High-density foam

Flexible polyurethane foam with high mechanical strength, durability and load-bearing capacity exceeding conventional foams.

  • Density above 35 kg/m³
  • High mechanical strength
  • Excellent dimensional stability
  • Long service life
Description

What is high-density foam?

These materials have a density above 35 kg/m³. The greater amount of material per unit volume creates a stronger, more stable and robust structure.

Despite increased firmness, it retains low weight, good thermal insulation, deformation resistance, easy machining and a long service life.

Classification

Foams by density

01Low density

10–23 kg/m³ · for applications prioritising low weight and flexibility.

02Medium density

25–30 kg/m³ · a good balance of comfort, strength and cost.

03High density

From 35 kg/m³ · maximum mechanical strength, dimensional stability and durability.

Advantages

Benefits for technical applications

  • High mechanical resistance to loads and deformation
  • Greater durability, even in demanding use
  • Excellent dimensional stability
  • Easy conversion: cutting, milling and die cutting
  • Lightweight despite its firmness
  • Versatile densities, thicknesses and formats
Applications

Where it is used
